Red Rose Chain considered for award!

Recognition for our work tackling poverty and social exclusion...

Red Rose Chain have been long-listed for the CSJ Awards 2011, the annual acknoweldgement by independent think tank The Centre For Social Justice.

From the 400 organisations in the running, we are delighted to have made the long-list as one of the top 20% of companies to be picked out for special recognition. This consideration is a reflection of our on-going commitment to engaging excluded social groups. By inviting them to experience and actively participate in the arts, we help to instill confidence and empower them to create a better future for themselves.

Our Community Theatre Company is one example of our social inclusion work. Follow these links and learn more about their recent productions 'The Flood' and 'No Room At The Holiday Inn'.

The Centre for Social Justice is an independent think tank established by Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP in 2004 to seek effective solutions to the poverty that blight parts of Britain.

The CSJ highlights the work of profoundly differing and unique small voluntary organisations and charities.
