Macbeth St Mary’s Church, IpswichAfter a successful run in the forest in 2003, Macbeth was reworked for a disused old church. The spine-chilling tragedy was the first of many performances at St Mary’s which is situated opposite the site of our new theatre. |

Bloodbath St Mary’s ChurchA new adaptation of ‘The Oresteia’ by Aeschylus. Bloodbath used stunning masks in the disused church along with hilarious new music. |

Under The InfluenceA short film made by young people. The film was funded by local brewery Adnams as part of their responsibility for promoting safer drinking. The film follows a family struggling to deal with the effect of alcoholism. The film is available as a teaching pack for schools, find out more here. |

Murder at the Monastery Leiston AbbeyA chilly night in a deserted abbey revealed buried bodies and secret love. Murder at the Monastery was a one off event highlighting the recent archaeological dig on the abbey site. |

Friday Night ShirtA gritty short film shot on High Definition by cinematographer Dick Pope BSC. Director Joanna Carrick created the script through months of workshops with a group of single mothers in Great Yarmouth. It tackles the issue of domestic violence in a challenging but uplifting way. She directed the film starring the participants alongside professional actors. The film has been developed into a teaching pack for PSHE, find out more here. |
