Stacey married Dave when she was 17. Her friends all thought he was gorgeous but eight years on she lives in terror of his moods and hides indoors. She wants to see her daughter as Cinderella in the school play but must first escape the nightmare of her own Prince Charming. Friday Night Shirt was created through script workshops with single mothers from Great Yarmouth. Over months of development the script was written and the young women were prepared for acting alongside professional actors in the film. The project was developed in partnership with GFS platform and funded by the Seachange Trust. This film is available as an educational DVD and notes. Click here for more information.
