It’s Christmas time in Elvedon…except Lovelace’s Boots & Shoes hasn’t seen a customer in months! Elvira needs a miracle to keep the doors open—and luckily, two very magical visitors are about to provide one!
Our Christmas shows are loved by audiences for their imaginative takes on classic stories, brought to life by our brilliant multi-rolling casts! Our plays are perfect for families of all ages. Filled with laughter, love and Red Rose magic, THE ELVES AND THE SHOEMAKER is the perfect fit this Christmas for all ages!

About our Christmas shows
If you have never been to a Red Rose Chain Christmas show before, they are the perfect festive treat! We’re loved for our imaginative take on classic stories, from Charles Dickens to Beatrix Potter!
Our shows are suitable for all ages and we don’t have any adult jokes or innuendo (like some pantos do!) and they are filled with songs, dance and comedy for all the family to enjoy!

The Avenue is an accessible 120 seat studio theatre. For THE ELVES AND THE SHOEMAKER you can book your exact seats, and you can reserve accessible seating and close up parking. Row A is on the flat, low to the ground seating.
Row B is on the flat, standard size seats so is very accessible. We also have 2 wheelchair accessible spaces in the row with carer seats next to the space.
Row C is on the flat, higher seats.
Row D is up 2 steps, standard size seats.
Row E is up 2 steps, higher seats.
The entrance and exit is to the left of the theatre.
