Fallen in Love is a play written by Joanna Carrick that brings to life the passionate relationship between Anne Boleyn and her brother George, their quest for power and their tragic downfall.
The play was originally performed in 2011 in a yurt in the grounds of Gippeswyk Hall, before heading in 2013 to a residency at the Tower of London! Fallen in Love is the first play of Joanna Carrick’s Tudor Trilogy, exploring the 16th century through the eyes of three extraordinary women who shaped it: Anne Boleyn, Suffolk Martyr Alice Driver (Put Out the Lights) and Queen Elizabeth I (Progress).
